1. Nanhu Park Nanhu is located in the center of Mengzi, with a total area of 410,000 square meters. Originally, this was a lake formed by rainwater, also known as Grass Lake. In the Ming Dynasty, it was dug into a lake and three earth mountains were piled up in the lake, named after the mythical Sanxian Mountains of Penglai, Abbot and Yingzhou.
2. Bisezhai Scenic Area is located 10 kilometers north of the city center of Mengzi. In addition to the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway, there is also the Meng (Zi) Cao (Dam) Highway. The Tropic of Cancer passes through it, and it faces Changqiaohai, the pearl lake in southeastern Yunnan, to the west. The surrounding residential areas are Bisezhai Village. Bisezhai Station is a key cultural relic protection unit in Yunnan Province. It was the hub of Yunnan’s railway transportation at that time and was known as “Little Hong Kong”. As of 2013, the Bisezhai area has basically maintained its original appearance when it opened to traffic in 1910, with more than 30 historical buildings.
